Marunaka Tekkosho was founded in 1934, by M. Nakataro Mochizuki. Marunaka is the originator of the lengthwise slicing concept which produce high-end thick or thin veneers and obtained world-wide patents. With representative in each continent, their products have been exported over 40 countries. Export business became very busy after patents of Super Surfacer (1971) and a patent of Lengthways Veneer Slicer (1972) were granted in the U.S.A.
Marunaka manufactures Veneers slicer models to fill your needs, including widths from 135mm to 500mm with the ability to slice from 0.50 mm to 6 mm thickness, depending on the equipment and wood species density.
